Vibrant colors....

I walked down to the Ballard Sunday market this morning and found some colorful flowers along the way. I have never seen the flower below. Anyone know what it is?


This particular plant is currently growing in my yard, and I'm dying to find out what it looks like once it blooms. For the past week or so, the bulbs have been bleeding a reddish purple liquid. I'll post some pics once they actually open up.

The flower at the top is a poppy. I'm not flower guru so counldn't identify the rest. Love the dog photos. I a sucker for dogs and we have three! Bella is still hanging in there although we thought she'd finally decided to go this spring. No such luck.

that first on is a poppy, that last one that is going to open is a peony. the peony is going to be saucem.
