Dog Days of Summer

I took a ton of photos of the dogs out at Vashon this weekend. Here are a few of my favorites....
Lincoln, looking adorable as usual. Those sad eyes get me every time. He knows to come to me for table scraps, I can't resist him!
Mr. Blue (Berry) Lauer. After a rough start with ripped up foot pads and too much sea water, Blue figured out the life of a beach dog quite quickly. It's all about lounging in the sun and playing fetch.
Pip decides to take a much needed afternoon snooze on the deck. She certainly has some beautiful brown eyes.
Pip + Kim = True love. Pip loves Kim, and that fact was verified when Kim and Casey decided to take the kayaks out. They started to paddle away and Pip started to whimper and shake, staring at Kim the whole time. As Kim got farther and farther away, Pip couldn't handle the separation, so she decided to start swimming out to Kim's kayak. It was super cute.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

This past weekend I flew up to Seattle for my first visit since moving to California. I have been pretty homesick for the last few weeks, so it was great to go back and spend some time with a few people......including these three cute faces!! I stayed at the Hayes residence, which meant I had the pleasure of hangin' with Pip, Lincoln, and Ms. Meows. I was finally able to get Lincoln to sit still for a bit, with some coaching from his parents.

How can you not love these faces?

I've fallen in love with these two cuties this past week that I've been staying at Casey and Kim's place! Lincoln has the most adorable face, with huge brown eyes that melt my heart. Pip is so loving, and she does indeed follow Kim wherever she goes. Kim has Pip well trained to take good photos, while Lincoln has the hardest time sitting still of any dog I have ever met! He just wants to be part of the action at all times. Lincoln has been keeping me company at night, which is awesome, despite the fact that he takes up about 2/3 of the bed:) I'll miss them when I leave town!
